Our STEM Expo is back for 2022 with the viewing evening to be held on Thursday 16 June!
It is time once again for our students who are keen to explore and showcase their interest in science, technology, engineering and math to consider becoming involved in the STEM Expo. This co-curricula extension and enrichment opportunity is open to all students in our school. The competitive aspect is completed at home with parental support. Guidance is available from event facilitators Mrs Peters and Mrs Witheyman.
For students entering the competitive aspect of the event, entry options and expectations including website links for ideas are outlined in the 2022 STEM Expo handbook available from the office, science room, class teachers and on our website.
All students entering the competition have the opportunity to discuss their learning with an invited judge during the day on the 16 June and will receive a Gold, Silver or Bronze level standard certificate of achievement in the evening at the open event.
The open to community evening will be held in the MPB on 16 June from 4.00pm – 6.00pm. In addition to sharing students’ work, a number of hands on displays and activities will be available for students to enjoy and engage with as we celebrate all things STEM!
