School Tours
School tours are held in the second half of the Open Day morning.
After the Open Day, school tours are available for families of students who are eligible for enrolment (only) in accordance with the school's enrolment management plan, or upon offer of enrolment by the Principal, and only by appointment.

The Gap State School Open Day is held in May each year and in 2024, was held on Thursday, 23 May.
Commencing at 9am with an address by the Principal, the Open Day begins as a seated event in the school hall, the 'MPB', where parents and caregivers will also be introduced to members of school staff, before school tours with senior students will commence. The Open Day concludes at 10:30am.
As the Open Day is a seated event and tour of the school, the format is most suitable for parents and caregivers. Children are very welcome to attend with their parent/caregiver, however parents/caregivers are encouraged to bring a quiet activity with them.
Parking - Please note that parking is not available in the school grounds. Parking is available in surrounding streets. We remind visitors to the school to please be respectful of residents in surrounding streets and do not park across, nor too close to driveways. Two-minute zones located close to school entrance gates are available for parking between 9am - 2pm only on school days, (or) according to BCC parking signage.
Enrolment interviews for 2025 Prep children, who are automatically eligible for enrolment at The Gap State School, begin in the week following Open Day. Enrolment information is emailed to parents/caregivers who have submitted an expression of interest form online and have a child eligible for 2025 Prep at The Gap State School.
