Open day

​​​​School Tours

School tours are held in the second half of the Open Day morning. 

After the Open Day, school tours are available for families of students who are eligible for enrolment (only) in accordance with the school's enrolment management plan, or upon offer of enrolment by the Principal, and only by appointment.

Children who are eligible for enrolment at The Gap State School include:

• Siblings of current students of the school, and
  
• Children who reside inside the school's catchment area​
  

The Gap State School Open Day is held in May each year and in 2024, was held on Thursday, 23 May. 

​Enrolment interviews for Prep children, who are automatically eligible for enrolment at The Gap State School, begin in the week following Open Day. Enrolment information is emailed to parents/caregivers who have submitted an expression of interest form online and have a child eligible for Prep at The Gap State School.
