Robocup is a competition designed to challenge students in the field of robotics. Students can choose from three different categories:
•On Stage, where students design and program robots to dance to music in a choreographed routine
•Rescue, where students design and program a robot to follow a line to a rescue point encountering obstacles along the way and
•Soccer, where students design and program two robots to compete in a dynamic game of soccer against an opposing pair of robots.
Robocup is a voluntary activity that is open to all students from Years 1 to 6 who are attending STEAM Makerspace Robotics sessions in Term 1 and 2.
